All the stuff Alaya thought she would need she had gathered and practically packed. Her knife she strapped securely onto her belt while most of the other things would be attached behind the saddle. Nap was already waiting to get tacked up, she had felt the excitement in the air when Alaya was packing and her eyes hadn't left her rider since she entered the room. Having put the saddle in place, along with her traveling possessions, she led her blue Shi to a big stone, where she managed to climb onto the Shi's back using the stone as a stool. The road was harder to travel now, after the raging storm had piled up snow that at some places reached over 2 feet high. The Shi's had to work twice as hard to plough through the thick layer of white blockage and the party had to rest more often. They tried to travel some distance with them walking beside their mounts, but the humans were simply too small and too lightweight to work their weigh through the snow. After 6 hours of sweating themselves through the landscapes they found themselves exhausted, all of them, and had yet to take another break, when Mysie looked ahead and saw the huge wall of snow. This wasn't something they could just work their way through. The wind had slammed the snow in the storm on the wall of the mountain and this place being in sort of a tunnel of wind it kept heaping up until it formed a wall that reached at least 10 feet.
