Kirea was right, the mountain path was steep, and it even proved a challenge to Roger’s excellent stamina. Duva, however, had almost no stamina to speak off, and was already worn down after only 10 minutes of climbing up the mountain.
“I need, a breather, right, now” she exclaimed, gasping for air and wishing there was more of it here. The higher they got, the more thin the air became, and even though she controlled ice and iced weather, this iced air was different, out of her powers.
With her eye almost pulling out of her head, she did keep following the others up the mountain, surprised by how well everyone could keep on climbing. But she needed a reason to stop for a bit, get her breath back. Perhaps.. ?
